First, as most of you know my friend and fellow business owner Debra Perry passed away May 21st due to complications from cancer.(She owned the Crochet Café yarn shop here in the courtyard)  It has been difficult for me and lonesome back here.  She was a great friend.  We spent a lot of time together talking about our day and our kids and just everything.  I miss her terribly.  I helped out her family with the day to day running of the shop until they could get through all of the arrangements. 

OK OK OK so I haven’t updated the site in a while but we’ve had so much going on.

HOORAY HOORAY – The calendars are updated and on the site.  Take a look at what you might want to do.  We are working hard on getting pics up for you to see but all the projects are in the store.  Just give us a call and we’ll help you out.

As always – all materials are included in the classes but please please please bring your favorite pair of scissors and a craft knife.  Mine just keep disappearing and I’m running out of them.  Course they might be in my knitting bag or somewhere in my studio at home (I’m not very responsible).

Gladys (my mother in law) is doing well and in fact going home on June 30.  I’ll be traveling with her but will be returning on July 2nd and back to the store on July 3rd.  The lovely and very capable Dawn will be helping you with all your needs while I’m gone. 

So since the 30th is my birthday and I’ll be traveling that day – I think we should have a sale (you know the “we’re into half the year and I’m NOT GONNA COUNT ALL THIS AT THE END OF THE YEAR” sale).  Our sale will take place on Saturday, June 28th and Sunday June 29th and we’ll have lots of goodies marked down for you – 50%, 60% and 70%.  We’ll have some surprises too.  Come on in and help me celebrate being an official senior citizen (I’ll be 55 don’tcha know)

Thank you so much again for all of your patience with me over the calendars – you know how I struggle with that and for your patience with the store during some of our difficulties during the first half of 08.

Class Rules at the Post

1. Payment is requested in advance for your class. Credit cards, checks and cash are gladly accepted.
2. You can reserve your spot with an email or a phone call but you must arrange payment.
3. All classes are non-refundable
4. Materials for the classes are included, however you are requested to bring the following items:
   • Scissors
   • Craft Knife
   • Ruler
   • Bone Folder
   • Your favorite adhesives
   • Personal cutter if you have one
5. Some teachers may require specific items.  We’ll inform you at the time you sign up if that’s necessary.
6. We ask that you make every effort to be on time for your class.
7. We will give you a reminder call before your class date & time.
